I Just Saw Some Good TV. by Kid. on 2001-08-30 15:12:46

OK, this is probably only for the Brits in the group, but The Armando Ianucci Show on C4 was funny. Very, very, funny. I laughed out loud, made a sound. It was awesome. Please repeat it so I can tape it.

Again, just for Brits. Please, please, please watch/tape the Home & Away Repeat on Monday Lunchtime. It is the funniest and greatest scene I have EVER seen. Must be seen to be believed. (Ray Meagher at his best. Very best)

Having recently visited Essex, where, for some unknown reason, the ladies are quite nice to Texans, I remembered BBC's delightful replay of Black Adder. Now that is a funny, hilarious and crazy TV series that I will never view in Austin. Are you aware of any BBC video downloads available online? I'd pay handsomely for the whole BA collection!

I don't want to burxt your bubble mate, but Essex girls have kind of a reputation through out the entire UK. Often too are they subject of jokes. Sorry, but I though it only fair to inform you. I'm sure the other Brits can back me up on this. How did you find the UK anyways???

When in the UK it seems my connections always reside outside London. Twyford one visit, Essex the next. It seemed at the time of my Essex visit that good ale, friends and uninhibited women are the norm everywhere in England. My origin of travel was just one more "whoopee" among girls who seemed easily impressed. The joke is definitely on me and I made this discovery among amused associates not long after a really, really bad hangover. What the hell, It didn't change the fact I had fun. No one in these parts would know the 1st thing about Essex much less GB. I did a search on Northern Light and then another on Google for BA. Found what I was looking for on both SEs. A connection to a video sales site with the whole Black Adder series. I am psyched. The sun is out and I'm off for a run around the park. Next week I'll be viewing BA laughing my ass off the whole way through! Cheers, Juanito
