It gives cats something to play with. Which is nice, for them anyway. Do you wrap present at Christmas? Its the same kind of thing, pointless yet satisfying.

	Well...Christmas wrapping paper is satisfying but shrink wrap is extremely annoying. I think wrapping paper is much less evil, too...
