Whoopi Goldberg is just tired... and is that it? Whoopi OR Billy Crystal for the rest of Oscar eternity? Shite. But hey -- at least security was tight!

	Not tight enough to keep the token award out of the venue. Best animated movie best scmanimated movie. We've all seen Shrek who wanted to, it was a laugh, but it needed no Oscar. Oh, I wanted to cast a cursory nod toward 'A Beautiful Mind'. I saw it yesterday, and it was worth its awards. I thought Russell Crowe (much as I dislike the image of the man) was very very good, and although the film wasn't the best I've ever seen, I feel it was the best it could be. Certainly a good night out. Were we swayed by the Oscar hype? Not really, it was just the first time we could get together for a film. It was made in the early 80's and seems to finally be getting some recognition. It's one of my favorites, a delightful movie, and I recommend paying attention to the details. The only high profile star in it is Jack Palance. If you see it, let me know what you think! Then I can move onto recommendations (and video shops if need be). I can bump this up my list now as you're not the first person to recommend it (you're not the second, or the third, either....Spooky!) So, in conclusion. I'll let you know.
