parent: Piercings and tatoos!

Re: Piercings and tatoos! by JohnnyG on 2003-05-09 16:39:59

What might be considered the most abrasively shocking of piercings these days? A parlor for the skin marking trade has opened in the commercial center I visit. Maybe I should give them some business.

I'd go for the vice attached to your right nipple. (Your a dude, its allowed. I still retain that all girls should keep em water-tight!)

Not sexist, its just that the male nipple doesnt really do anything for me, so i have no quarms about seeing it destroyed.

Now that I'm in SF for the weekend to work and play, I'm having second thoughts about piercing anything. I'm as trendy as what's avaialble in current clothing but the characters sitting across from me in the Cup-A-Joe shop are exhibiting every type of piercing available for sating the unimaginable human desire for such displays. A veritable Sid Viscious is having a fantastic time making faces and harassing the women folk entering, he has all the ware and attitude and I'm trying hard not to laugh. Anyway, to each his own. I run a race called Bay to Breakers Sunday and will be costumed as an integrated circuit. Humiliation at its utmost. The company apartment will be made available for an impomptu vacation for Mon/Tues which I absolutely demanded of my boss before coming out here. Weather could not be better and Angel Island awaits my Saturday romp. So long to that piercing idea for now.

An integrated circuit eh? Does this mean you get to run around pointing at bits of yourself saying "Resistors are futile". Meanwhile, you could store drinks in capacitors.

Surely there will be a picture made. If one is available on a website, you must direct us!

Wheeee! The Bay to Breakers is sort of like Mardi Gras disguised as a sporting event. Have a blast. And I miss Angel Island. Back on topic: Remember that a bad piercing will usually grow back once you take it out, but a bad tattoo is forever (well, pretty much). Also, the piercing is just ONE needle. Why so shy?

Talk about chamber of commerce weather, man what a week in Frisco I've had! Besides the great weather which lasted my entire 6 days I also ran the bay-to-breakers event for the first 1.5 miles as a cardboard cutout of a circuit etched silicon wafer. Ridiculous, impractical, flimsy and overall poorly designed, somewhat like our competitors equipment. Anyway, I tore the thing off approaching an enormous hill before the race exited the Tenderloin district on Geary. I said the hell with this thing and gave it to a completely insane homeless man who was screaming at me and everyone else passing him by. Did not realize the number of naked folks who attend this event, wish I had brought along pen and paper and a camera (sorry, no picture of me in costume is available as far as I know). There was one very brunette brunette woman of about age 28 or so who was in superior shape in all aspects of the word superior. She motivated me to keep jogging for approx 4 miles before I gave out to a slow semi-run/walk pre-death march and I never saw her again. I vomited somewhere in a park about mile 6. Sometime that afternoon I was recovered enough to replenish my energy at a Burmese restaurant. Visited Angel island, Muir woods, countless art gallerys (no purchases), and Union Square over & over again. The apartment was located between Sutter & Jones where getting to places of interest on public transport was never any trouble. I am shy about a piercing. Anywhere on me. I don't want to experience even one second of pain from it and I know that in my mind I will always believe it a pretentious act on my part and there just may not be any way round that. I'm back to work now. Austin is hot & humid and Mexican smoke is making the place unhealthy. SF has clearly spoiled me.

How come I never read this before? Its genius! Quote "I said the hell with this thing and gave it to a completely insane homeless man who was screaming at me"....man, that's brightened up an already relatively bright week for me even further. Nice one.
