That time of the year again... the beginning! by Wash! on 2003-12-31 06:14:21

As the New Year gradually wings its way around the globe, I wish you all the best.

However, i'd like to ask you what you will be celebrating tonight:
a) The coming of a New Year
b) The end of what has been a great year.

I think i'll be doing the latter, in hope that 2004 can equal, if not better 2003. Strange to think that one year from now, things will be so different! Again!

	Yeah, I know what you mean. I think back through my life in several-year increments, and I would have been amazed to have known what I would be doing in the future. So tell me Wash, what you think you'll be doing one and two years from now... hopefully we'll still be posting and can review your accuracy.

	Oooo, wouldn't like to say too much. Let's see: This time next year, hopefully i'll be a graduate in French, working and living in Spain for a year, a nice Spanish chica, maybe who cooks me a sea-foodless paella every so often. As for where i'll be after the Spanish expedition, i have no idea. Hopefully working in a job i enjoy, that's all i can hope for! So what about your next stint?

	Damn, Wash, I've thought about this, and I cannot envision anything beyond the same old routine. Not that I don't like it. I guess this is the frame of mind from which the surprises come. Maybe I'll live out my fantasies. If that's the case, then in two more years I'll be in prison.
