I was hoping you'd get my time-travelling well wishes, and I'm glad you did. I've always been a fan of the contrast you mention - I've only been to one Greek island (it was Crete, not Santorini), and it is maybe even more striking while one is there. Its the thin-ness of the streets, too, that allow beams of bold blue through into them
I have no calendar for the new year, I'd hate to start imposing rules onto it just yet. I'll take it as it comes, hopefully starting with a j-o-b.
Its New Year for you now, so Happy 2oo5, hope it brings as good a year as it can be, and gives you many happy memories to take forward into the next ones.
