This reminds me of my great aunt Ruth... She had the nastiest habit of tying granny knots in her hair. It was almost impossible to get those tangles out. Yep... Sure am glad we hired a professional groomer for her. She just got out the scissors and 'snip' 'snip'... All was repaired... Except of course for poor old Ruth's hairdo. The groomer told me it was nerves, but I figured it was something else entirely. Ruth made some terrific rhubarb pie.

I know someone who had the same problem with bubble gum, and with the same outcome. Their pie was not so good.

I've heard of the bubble gum thing... Poor old Aunt Ruth didn't have any teeth to speak of, so gum was right out. Maybe that's why she made such tender rhubarb?
