My understanding of hypermarkets is that they have lots of departstore - type items, such as clothing and housewares. Granted that American supermarkets often include a lot of pharmacy, cosmetics, gardening, and variety items, they are still fundamentally food stores, however fancy.
The main difference in terminology would be that you use pounds and we use dollars.
But OK, I'm game. What do you call the little booths where you go to try on clothes? And what is the name of the front counter where you go to have your purchases totalled? And what do you call the printed receipt that you get after you pay?

Its obvious. All the modern (post-1700 or so) words for things were formed on opposite sides of the Atlantic (see Sidewalk etc.) and with there being little speedy communication between the two, the local words stuck. Really modern words (post-1950 or so) are universal because they so quickly come into general usage (all the computer and technology words). Man, I love this! Not only stuff that I know about, but what I'll do at uni. too.

Well I actually, I have been trying to move back to calling them "mobile phones" here, too, since the good ones are digital.
Of course, the overarching name for the communications technology is "wireless", which I always thought of as a quaint English term for "radio". It makes sense for the phones, because once they required wires and now they don't. It makes no sense to me for the radio, since wired technologies (telegraph and telephone) did not deliver anything like the kind of functions radio gives.
Then again, there is "TV" vs. "telly", a technology that used to be wireless and now is mostly cable. What goes around comes around, I guess.

hmmm....downloaded it and came up with this Version 3.2.0.14 - 25 July 2004That's what the version history says when it is actually 3.2.0.15 download. No 3.2.0.16 in English.However, there is a Japanese version 3.2.0.16 to download there.

Sounds like you used Deep Analysis before you burned. Deep Analysis has always taken a lot more time since it was introduced in 3.0beta. Myself, I don't use it and I burn at my leisure w/ Nero 6, not at Shrink's.
