SATAN DRIVES TO WORK

8:47 PM: Buaha. Finally, objective proof that girls are cuter than boys. I know, I know, as if this was ever in doubt. But some people are stubborn in their resistance.

Coolest Snack!® Today - chocolate-covered sunflower seed kernels. At first, they just said seeds, and I was imagining the entire thing, the way they're usually sold. What a pointless sort of snack, you'd have to suck all the chocolate off, then chew it up and spit it out. So good thing not.

Slept in today. Probably tomorrow too. At last. I read somewhere that "they" now think that sleep is right up there with diet and exercise as a determinant of your health. Since I've got two out of those three right in the crapper, I better work on what's salvageable.

I feel like there was something I was going to say in here but now I don't know what. Haven't been fired... oh! Our stock has lost something like a fifth of its value in the last week. It's not that much higher than the strike price of 90% of the employee options, at this point. So it looks like all future speculation may be down the drain with the unhatched chicken embryos. More News Later.

9:45 PM: Now here is the most frightening thing I've seen in a while:

"People now seek a leader who can help them imagine a course out of the waiting place - a kind of steward they can trust intrinsically. Americans yearn to begin restoring their faith in public life - to come out from their homes and believe it is possible for the nation to take collective action. They want to be challenged to see the common good and to become more complete citizens."

Hey, I hear Slobodan's free.

10:44 PM: OK, so I've been listening to this latest batch of CDs, and one of them is playing right now: Pass by the Beth Lisick Ordeal. It's like, totally Beatnik, man. Mission. Snap snap. Next.

Willfully blind self-indulgent nebbish or amusingly quirky old coot? And how bout that local sports team? Discuss among yourselves.

All names are fake, most places are real, the author is definitely unreliable but it's all in good fun. Yep.
