Erm, you're probably right about the 'bible thumping zealots' impression. I was only judging on the marches I've seen (G.W. Bush got into gyp in a foreign land too, by the look of today's footage). Web-cam of a jail, eh? So you can have all the effect of having commmitted a crime from the comfort of your own living room. Nice....

You had mentioned inmate costs, and Sheriff Joe Arpaio makes ALL inmates PAY for their lousy meals! I happen to think that's great! I mean, jail isn't supposed to be fun, or educational, or a boarding house w/revolving doors. Sheriff Joe also started a FEmale chain-gang and makes the male inmates wear this huge pink underwear! He was accused of abuses etc. which is WHY he started the webcam -- to show
the public he's not dealing double... (did you see the website yet?)
