It being the season of good will and all. And me being a nice bloke (No, really!) yes, I would embrace you. After you described yourself as a fan, how could I not? But if you felt my butt, the deal would be off. (Unless you're a lay-dee)

No, no from what I'm reading now, that was an inebriated me being a bit suave.
*Nods accordingly*
Still, you answered the question. Thanks.
*Nods again.*

no problem... I mean, we're talking STRICTLY a friendly and platonic Tater-love hug, yes? That's all I can ever possibly handle anyway -- people are germy and smelly and well, YOU know!

Yeah, I'm with you most of the way there, but people can be fun, too, y'know.

I'm as much fun as a Buddhist nun -- fun is in the eye of the beholder, you know?

Very much so, which is why one of my mottos for life is 'Do you like fun?'. I'm about as much fun as being delayed for a night at an empty airport.

an empty airport?!? That would be fun!! I'm a bit of a sensitive and am one of THOSE types who considers herself 'alone in a crowd' -- sort of unto myself you might say... If the airport were empty and I had the run of the place I'd go exploring! It's not that I don't like to share, it's just that I almost always prefer solitude. Few exceptions. It's my nature.

You might have a point with the exploring the empty airport. I can see where you're coming from. Wherever you are there's questions need asking; Just where do the cases go? How sensitive are the bleepy things? Where do they get the fake tan for people who work there?
And you could the traditional film escapade on the plane-boarding-ladders. Nice.

On the solitary thing, I kind of see what you mean. I need to be alone a lot, more than other people I know. I sit alone writing. Every night. Got a nice bit of Mark Twain to read tonight. But if I didn't have my friends I'd be lost.

Ahhhhh! Samuel Clemens... required reading mayhaps? I'm wondering what you are writing??? I'm an inquisitive type. I am a true loner -- I was born that way. If I were a Western movie I'd be the 'drifter' passing through the town... Also, what was your final mark on the dyspraxia paper?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: by Kid. on 2002-01-24 09:21:59  |  Reply to this
Actually, I'm quite proud to say that I'm reading Twain off my own bat, which is nice so I can take it at my own pace, my own speed and not (really) have to worry about it. I've not got my mark back yet, it might have arrived today but I was not well enough to go in (bit of a hangover, but more of a stomach bug carried through from yesterday morning - I'd like to think it was morning sickness)

Bob Dylan was the loner passing through town in a Western, too, y'know. I'd be the guy who accidentally get shot in the saloon (its just below the shoulders, y'know. Boom. Boom.)
What do I write? I suppose like everybody, I just try and put things into words on paper, under the impression that they're better at it than they are at speech. I don't really know. So what do you do with yourself when you're alone? You can only read for so long...
